QGIS Application & Hobby Project Mela

Under Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering departmental technical club-(Tele-Sampark) activities, we have organized fourth activity as technical contest in association with IETE (The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers) on QGIS APPLICATION & HOBBY PROJECT MELA for VI Semester students on 5h July 2024, from 9:00 to 1:00 PM, Google form link: QGIS application & HOBBY PROJECT MELA Tele Sampark, ETE Technical Club (google.com) were shared with the students based on the response, 36 batches of two/three students( total 120 students) registered for the event.

Machine Learning using Python

The department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering organized a 25 hours skill development program on Machine Learning using Python from 20 th June 2024 to 24 th June 2024 for 6 th Semester students of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department in collaboration with Karunadu Technologies Pvt Ltd.

One-Day Colloquium

Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering has organized a one-day colloquium on “Futuristic Technology for Next-Generation Wireless Networks” in Association with IEEE Bangalore Section, for the faculties of DSCE and several other engineering colleges across Bangalore on 25th May 2024, from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, in Heritage Building, First Floor, Seminar Hall, DSI.

CCN and AI-ML Coding Contest

Under Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering departmental technical club activities, we have organized third activity as technical contest in association with IETE (The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering) on CCN and AI-ML Coding Contest for VII Semester students on 23rd Nov 2023, from 2:00 to 5:00pm.

Project Hobby Mela

Under Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering departmental technical club activities, we have organized second activity as technical event in association with IETE ( The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers) on project hobby Mela for II Semester students on 1st September 2023. Google form link https://forms.gle/jZ7965j6jUaz6qCe7 were shared with the students on 28 Aug 2023, based on the response, 29 batches of three/four students registered for the event.

Technical Contest on MATLAB Coding and Debugging & Circuit Design

Under Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering departmental technical club activities, we have organized the first activity as technical contest on MATLAB coding and Debugging and Circuit Design for IV Semester students on 27 July 2023 and 28 July 2023. Google form link https://forms.gle/pvgMxuTakJnnqQsn9 were shared with the students on 19 July 2023, based on the response, 12 batches of three/four students registered for MATLAB Coding and Debugging, and 9 batches registered for Circuit Design.

TELE-SAMPARK

The department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, has formed the technical club. In order to form the club, faculty and student suggestions for the technical club's name and punch line were sought.

The International Conference on Advances in Engineering and Technology for Intelligent systems (ICAETIS-2023) organized by Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering on the 16th ,17th and 18th May 2023.This is an international platform for all categories of researchers and scholars, practitioners, academicians, students and scientists, to discuss interdisciplinary research in Engineering and Technology, to present and discuss the latest discoveries, drifts and interests, as well as practical difficulties and resolutions in sectors involving Intelligent Systems. ICAETIS- 2023 had a prime focus on promotion of fundamentals, algorithms, customized pervasive systems and also multi-purpose ubiquitous systems. It further aims to change the mind-set of the community towards autonomous systems. Mr Rama Krishna ,Director ,ISTRAC was the chief guest for the event .Dr Kuldeep Kumar Raina, Vice Chancellor,MSRU,Mr Lepeesh Parat, Managing Diretcor Zesty Beans are the guest of Honours .

Space Technology Cell

Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore, Karnataka, India, and the Indian Space Research Organization, Government of India, recognized the friendly relations between the two agencies and their willingness to cooperate in the area of academia as a common interest for establishing the Space Technology Cell, considering the mutual benefits and the need to strengthen cooperation within the field of Space Science and Technology.

The session was formally inaugurated by Dr. Smitha Sasi & Dr. Ganashree T S, Associate Professor, Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, DSCE. The distinguished speaker delivered an excellent technical talk on the topic entitled “Cell free Networks for Wireless 5G and beyond”.

Since the participants were faculties from all the circuit branches the speaker gave a brief introduction to Wireless Communication and it’s most significant concepts. The topics on Single Input Single Output (SISO), Single Input Multiple Output (SIMO), Multiple Input Single Output (MISO) and Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) technologies were covered during the presentation.

This Workshop aimed at providing its attendee with the basic understanding of Python programming and advanced Object-Oriented Programming concepts, File handling, PyQt GUI basics, Image processing using Open CV, NumPy and Pandas.
